List of 13 ‘Siargao’ co-actors of Jericho Rosales, Erich Gonzales, Jasmine Curtis-Smith


Directed by Paul Soriano, “Siargao” is one of the eight 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entries. It was distributed by Solar Pictures and produced under Ten17 Productions.

Leading the “Siargao” cast are Jericho Rosales, Erich Gonzales and Jasmine Curtis-Smith as Diego, Laura and Abi, respectively. The film was set in Siargao, an island in the province of Surigao del Norte.

Soriano, Rosales, Gonzales and Curtis-Smith stayed in Siargao for at least three weeks for the movie. Here is a list of the rest of the cast:

Rosales has been an MMFF regular since being part of the ensemble cast of the 2000 MMFF Best Picture “Tanging Yaman” (“Only Treasure”). In 2001, he also starred in the MMFF Second Best Picture “Bagong Buwan” (“New Moon”).

In 2011, Rosales was part of the ensemble cast of the MMFF entry “Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow.” In 2014, he played Philippine national hero Jose Rizal in the MMFF Best Picture “Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo” (“Bonifacio: The First President”).

In 2015, Rosales won Best Actor at the 41st MMFF Awards for his role in “Walang Forever” (“Nothing is Forever”), which won Best Picture. In 2016, he played a fictionalized version of himself in “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2: Forever is Not Enough.” (“The Woman in the Septic Tank 2: Forever is Not Enough”).

In 2008, Rosales was the lead actor of the MMFF Best Picture “Baler” opposite Anne Curtis, Jasmine’s sister. Anne joined Jasmine, Rosales, Gonzales and Soriano during the premiere night of “Siargao” on December 20, 2017 at Trinoma Cinema 7 at Trinoma Mall in Quezon City, Metro Manila.
